The Klaipėda University Student Union, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Science and Studies, the Klaipėda University Statute and the description of the election procedure of the Klaipėda University Student Union (hereinafter – KUSS), announces a public tender for vacant member positions in KU Governing Bodies. We are currently inviting applications for:
- Position of an external member of the KU Council.
A candidate for the position of an external KU Council member must meet the following requirements:
- must be a graduate of Klaipėda University;
- cannot belong to the staff of Klaipėda University.
The following cannot be members of the Council: the President of the Republic, members of the Seimas and the Government and public servants of political (personal) trust, managers and their deputies of companies or organizations in which Klaipėda University has at least 50 percent of the votes of all legal entity participants at the general meeting of participants, Klaipėda University Members of the Senate and persons who have worked at the university for the past three years.
Those wishing to act as an external KU Council member must submit the following documents:
curriculum vitae (CV);
cover letter;

These documents must be submitted to the KUSS Central Office by February 20. (inclusive) or send signed copies of documents by e-mail. p.: kuss@kuss.lt
You also need to participate in the KUSS Electoral Council meeting, which will be held on February 21. at 6:30 p.m.
Only persons of impeccable reputation who have held and are holding responsible positions in the fields of public activity or business and who have knowledge and abilities that will help implement the mission and strategic goals of Klaipėda University can participate in the competition.
