With the onset of summer, the activities of the Klaipėda University Student Union (KUSS) did not stop – a number of significant tasks were completed.
First of all, on June 28-29, the Lithuanian Student Union (LSS) held training sessions for local government coordinators to further deepen their knowledge in the areas of Žik, RsV, Projects, and SARK. A little later, on June 30, one of the most important events of the year took place at the Švyturys Arena – the graduation ceremony, which celebrated the hard work and achievements of the university’s graduates and, most importantly, the beginning of a new stage in their lives. We are extremely happy and proud of our university graduates.
On July 12, the traditional event “KUSS Plateliai’25” took place. Participants not only had a good time playing games, participating in various relay races, and camping, but also inaugurated the new KUSS Alumni, who will be able to continue their activities and contribute to the growth of KUSS. The training did not end there, as President Olivija participated in LSS Vadovauk on July 18-20. During this training, the presidents of local governments delved into the topics of leadership, organizational management, and strategic planning. This training is intended for local government presidents who seek to grow as leaders of their organizations.
August began with the LSS Gathering organized by us and KTU SA. Student councils from various universities gathered here, where they had the opportunity to get to know each other better and have fun in an informal setting.
The enjoyable and highly significant summer work was completed with the signing of contracts by first-year students at Klaipėda University. This academic year (2025) saw a record number of students enroll at KU, so we can also rejoice and take pride in KU’s continued growth and the university’s increasing popularity!
