On November 22, the annual Klaipėda Region Higher Education Institutions Conference (KRAMS) took place, in which KUSS, together with KVK SA, VilniusTech Maritime Academy, and LCC Student Council, participated in the first part of KRAMS – training sessions. During the training, participants had the opportunity to not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also to accumulate practical experience.
The first lecture, given by Samanta Pronckutė, president of LSU SA, was devoted to the topic of lobbying. After introducing the concept of lobbying, its principles, and its importance to an organization representing the voice of students, the lecturer concluded the training with a practical game that helped reinforce the knowledge gained and develop quick decision-making, teamwork, and communication skills.
The second lecturer, Gabija Juzėnaitė, Vice President of LSS, gave a lecture on the psychological well-being of students. The lecturer presented the most common psychological problems among students, their causes, and ways to deal with or avoid them. Discussions took place during the training, and in the practical part, each participant had the opportunity to assess their mental health, calculate their burnout level, and receive useful advice.
During the second part of KRAMS, participants spent time getting to know each other better and socializing within the community through fun games, brain teasers, and various other activities.
